Three way link building

In an effort to perhaps circumvent the major search engines’ disqualification of two way link building, many link building efforts include a process known as three way link building. The premise of this technique is that company A links to company B who links to company C who in turn links to company A. Everyone sends a link and everyone receives a link in return. Three way link exchanges are very difficult to arrange as it is almost impossible to find and coordinate links between three high ranking websites. At this point, it should be noted that Google and the other major search engines do not penalize a website based on the quality of an inbound link. It is supposed that because you have no control over who chooses tolink to you, you can not be held accountable if low quality websites point themselves in your direction. Your website is held extremely accountable for where you link outward to. You may rest assured that if you choose to link your website to sites promoting socially questionable material, Google will slam your website with an assortment and variety of penalties. None the least of which is to be removed from the Google index. This removal is also known as “The death penalty”. Due to the possibility of linking errors, resulting in a website being rendered ineffective and virtually worthless, link exchanges must be carefully coordinated.
