Two way link building

In recent years past, the most popular method of link building was known as link exchange. Websites dealing with similar, but not directly competitive topics would agree to link to one another. For example, a fishing rod manufacturer would link to a fishing lure manufacturer and vice versa. People who buy fishing rods need fishing lures and people who buy fishing lures need fishing rods. On this level two way link building or link excahnge as it is preferably named was extremely effective and perfectly described a win/win situation. It was honest and natural linking that benefitted all parties. Unfortunately, profiteers set themselves up as middle men to link exchange and lowered the standards for mutual linking. So now instead of a fishing related company linking to another fishing related company, we had a fishing company linking to a mattress company or something equally irrelevant. These link exchange middle men setup websites used as link farms whereby anyone could send a link inward and in exchange receive hundreds of low quality irrelevant links in return. This process prompted tha major search engines to disqualify the value of the majority of links received through a link exchange. Bonafide link exchanges from one industry’s comapny website to another are still of value. Once your website has built it’s own trust and authority, you may link on a one to one basis with other trusted sites and both receive benefit. As part of our standard services package, Top SEOz will arrange for this kind of quality link exchange.
